AAFP Student Membership Eligibility and Requirements

Student members may hold floor at the AAFP Congress of Delegates, vote on organizational matters and hold leadership positions within the AAFP.

Eligibility for Student Membership

Limited to students enrolled in allopathic or osteopathic medical schools that are:

Accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME); or
Accredited by the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (AOA COCA); or
Listed as operational in the then-current edition of the World Directory of Medical Schools

Dues

There are no dues for national or chapter Student membership. Student membership ends automatically upon graduation or withdrawal from medical school.
