An item in “Practice Guidelines,” titled “The 2000 Harmonized Immunization Schedule” (January 1, 2000, page 232), contained an error in a footnote to the immunization schedule (page 234). The fourth and fifth sentence of the second footnote should read as follows: Infants born to HbsAg-positive mothers should receive hepatitis B vaccine and 0.5 mL hepatitis B immune globulin (HBIG) within 12 hours of birth at separate sites. The second dose is recommended at one to two months of age and the third dose at six months of age.
