• Improving COVID-19 Vaccination Rates for Children 6 Months Through 5 Years of Age

    This free online CME uses case scenarios to help you implement the latest guidance and updates from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). It also addresses culturally relevant information you need to effectively educate hesitant parents, especially those in ethnic and racial groups at increased risk for associated morbidity and mortality.

    Learning Objectives

    • Identify the primary recommendations, updates and guidance to drive physician-parent/caregiver dialogue on the importance of vaccinating children 6 months through 5 years of age against COVID-19 and adhering to CDC recommendations.
    • Identify evidence-based interventions and techniques to improve COVID-19 vaccination rates among children, racial and ethnic minority populations and for children with underlying medical conditions or other risk factors.
    • Identify information to build confidence and address hesitancy within the targeted patient populations.
    • Identify culturally relevant educational materials to build a higher level of trust among those groups with lower coverage.
