The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released updated database files to correct an issue that could impact scores for some electronic clinical quality measures (eCQM) for the 2020 performance period. The issue only affects eligible clinicians who use Expression Logical Model filetypes. For those users, it could alter scores on three measures if certain time values are not in the input data, causing an erroneous evaluation that may result in an increase or decrease of cases that fall in the measure populations.
