Welcome to your hub for all things related to chief resident leadership development. AAFP’s Chief Resident Leadership Development Program (CRLDP) is the only national family medicine chief resident program in the country.

For over 25 years, this program has offered an interactive, engaging experience that provides chief residents with the most up-to-date resources, tools, and instruction to become strong leaders.

The program begins in May with an in-person meeting in Kansas City and concludes with a workshop held in the fall in conjunction with AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX).

For 29 years, this program has offered an interactive, engaging experience that provides chief residents with the most up-to-date resources, tools, and instruction to help them succeed at this crucial point in their professional journey.

Their experience at this event will provide your chief residents with a solid foundation to help lead their residency program and strengthen their roles as future leaders in family medicine.

This program begins in May with a three-day in-person meeting in Kansas City and concludes with a workshop held in the fall in conjunction with the AAFP’s premier family medicine event, Family Medicine Experience (FMX).
