ICF-Certified Physician Coach

Dr. Sánchez Wohlever, an experienced ICF-certified coach, has worked with physicians for over two decades. She aims to empower and support you on a journey to greater clarity, a sense of purpose, and hope. She specializes in physician wellness, “burnout” prevention, leadership development, transitions, and life-work integration. She is the author of Recapturing Joy in Medicine and the inaugural physician career coach at FMX since 2022.

 
Coach: Catherine Florio Pipas, MD, MPH

Dr. Pipas is a Professor of Community & Family Medicine at Dartmouth. She has been recognized as a leader in education, research and clinical care. Dr. Pipas serves as Co-Chair of the AAFP Leading Physician Well-being Program and as a Chair of the AAFP Physician Health First Initiative. She authored A Doctor’s Dozen: 12 Strategies for Personal Health and a Culture of Wellness. She is committed to improving health nationally and internationally and provides coaching and training across professions to promote healthy individuals and health organizations. Her vision is for healthy individuals contributing to healthy communities.

Coach: Mark Greenawald, MD

Dr. Greenawald’s coaching philosophy is simple: Together, we’ll help to make you better (however you define that). The coaching process is a journey of discernment, visioning, reflection, planning and action. His role is to be with you during each step, as a supportive encouraging thought partner with decades of coaching and healthcare experience. He is the conference chair for the AAFP Physician Well-being Conference as well as faculty for the AAFP Leading Physician Well-being program and the Healthcare Coaching Institute. Dr. Greenawald is the Medical Director for Carilion Institute for Leadership Effectiveness and the Vice Chair of Family and Community Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion SOM and Carilion Clinic.

Coach: Lauren Brown-Berchtold, MD

Dr. Lauren Brown-Berchtold is the program director for the San Joaquin General Hospital Family Medicine Residency program, as well as the director of the Advanced Obstetrics fellowship, where she has been a core faculty member since 2018.  She graduated from Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, then joined John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, to complete her family medicine residency and Maternal-Child Health fellowship equivalent training.  Lauren is dedicated to advocating for physician well-being and maternal health while teaching the next generations of physicians. When away from the hospital, she loves to read and explore life with her husband and very active toddler!
