    Residency Administrative Development (RAD) Workshop

    Presented by the Association of Family Medicine Administration (AFMA)

    Monday, March 24 | 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. 
    $225 for AFMA members and non-AFMA members
    Take part in special programming designed for administrators/coordinators. Additional registration fees apply. 

    Program Administrators/Coordinators/Managers: do you want a day of professional development that was created just for you? 
    Then join us for the 2025 Residency Administrative Development (RAD) Workshop.  The day will focus on topics that apply to both new and experienced Administrators/Coordinators/Managers, such as an update from the ABFM, professionalism and empowering coordinators. This is a great opportunity to connect with your peers and mentors, as well as take home new information and ideas.    

    We will also have a pre-conference meet and greet on Sunday, March 23, for a chance to chat in an informal setting.

    Register for the RPS workshop and attend the ABFM SOAR Luncheon before your RPS workshop that's included in your registration fee. 

    ABFM SOAR | 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    The Strengthening Outcomes and Assessment in Residency (SOAR) Community of Practice Learning Collaborative, sponsored by the AFMRD and ABFM Foundation, offers a unique opportunity to enhance your residency program through this Residency Learning Network. By participating, you will be part of the SOAR Learning Network to explore innovative residency designs based on data, measurements, and achieving optimal training outcomes. You will connect with fellow family medicine residency leaders in a peer-to-peer sharing format to leverage data available to your program and to the community to inform structural, curricular and care delivery improvements. This allows you to leverage GME outcomes as you consider your residency design.

    Unlock expert strategies and actionable tips in this two-hour interactive workshop with Residency Program Solutions (RPS) Consultants with individualized advice. Gain valuable insights into addressing program challenges, optimizing resources, and demonstrating the value of your residency. Bring your key topics, and benefit from focused guidance on areas like Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), coaching, resident engagement, fostering a growth mindset, meeting the ABFM Outcomes Competencies, and showing the value of your residency to the C-suite and beyond.
