Artificial intelligence offers promising solutions to reduce administrative burdens for family physicians. This evolving technology could enable family physicians to spend more time doing what they do best: taking care of patients.
Recognizing the potential for these technologies to improve primary care, the AAFP is collaborating with Rock Health to explore and accelerate the application of AI and digital health tools by identifying opportunities that can transform clinical practice, enhance the operations of primary care practices and improve outcomes.
Together with Rock Health, the AAFP surveyed primary care physicians and other clinicians on their perceptions and use of digital health and AI tools in primary care practice management and care delivery.
