Prerequisites for acceptance
The program is open to graduates of accredited residency in family medicine. Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident of the U.S. or of a foreign national holding a visa permitting ability to work in the U.S. Applicants must have a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois.

Description
The mission of the fellowship is to train outstanding individuals who are committed to caring for the underserved. Fellows will train in high risk obstetrics, and procedures including cesarean sections, postpartum tubal ligation, colposcopy, LEEP, LARC, obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds and D&Cs. Training also includes faculty development . Fellows have Adjunct Faculty position with the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine. See our website for details.
