Description
St. Anthony Family Medicine residency offers a one year Integrative Medicine fellowship to obtain advanced training in the area of integrative and holistic medicine. This program is designed to allow fellows to develop a strong foundation in complimentary modalities including but not limited to acupuncture, mind body medicine, nutrition therapy, manipulative therapy, and botanical medicine. The curriculum can be tailored to personal interests, with an ample budget to allow for further training in self-selected areas of interest. Fellow may sit for boards as well upon completion of the fellowship. Inpatient participation to be discussed. There will be 2 half days of primary care continuity clinic, 1 half day of integrative medicine consult clinic, 1 half day of integrative medicine specialty clinic, and 1 half day of precepting per week when on non-inpatient weeks. Remaining time is set aside for administrative duties, didactics, and scholarly projects. Preference is given to graduates of St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program, but applications are accepted from all graduates of ACGME/AOA accredited family medicine programs.
