Description
The Relias Healthcare Emergency Medicine Fellowship, a partnership between Relias and North Mississippi Medical Center, is a one-year intensive training curriculum designed to develop recent Family Practice or Internal Medicine graduates as emergency medicine physicians. Current fellows train at North Mississippi Medical Center, a high-acuity 65,000 annual visit emergency department, with a Level 2 trauma center designation. The curriculum we have designed includes weekly didactic sessions, emergency medicine shifts, and hands-on skills labs. Our goal is upon completion of the fellowship, each graduate of the program can stand alone in any ED, large or small, and be able to handle any acute medical emergency that walks in the door.
