Description

We encourage residents to take international electives away. We offer an area of concentration in global health, or residents may simply choose to spend one of both of their elective away blocks to train in a variety of countries. Residents arrange their destination under the guidance of our global health mentor faculty.

Field experience

Clinical activities vary by location, but generally clinic and in-patient settings require a second-year resident medical experience to maximize your contribution and derive the most value from the rotation.
