Program Description

Waukesha Family Medicine Residency has always been known for its innovations in Family Medicine Training. Our innovative Majors and Masteries Curriculum allows you to learn the core skills in Family Medicine as well as develop special skills in an area of interest. You also have the option of obtaining an advanced degree (an MBA , an MPH or a surgical obstetrics fellowship) through our optional 4 year curriculum. One can explore their interests in sports medicine by being the team physician at one of our local High Schools or in women's health by performing over 100 deliveries! All residents will learn about Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for opioid addiction. We continue to train everyone to full spectrum family medicine and then allow you to decide how you want to practice. Loan repayment is available.
