Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program is a community based, technology enhanced, funded teaching health center, ACGME and AOA accredited, unopposed program that cares for a medically underserved culturally, socio-economically, and demographically diverse patient population. The area's economy is primarily agriculturally based and the cost of living is much lower than the west coast major metropolitan areas. Located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, the Yakima Valley enjoys four distinct seasons and offers abundant year round outdoor recreational opportunities.
