Program Description

The Tidelands Health MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program is a combination of family medicine learning with a unique focus on developing transformational leadership skills and resident wellbeing. The residency program encompasses the best of both worlds—a high quality community health system setting with the educational resources of a top academic medical center allowing residents to learn in multiple settings with a variety of experiences. The leadership program allows residents to master skills in quality improvement, health system functions and leading effective teams. With service to a medically underserved area in a destination location, residents can find fulfillment both inside and out of work.
