Applying for AAFP membership requires an AAFP account. If you already have an AAFP account, you can log in and complete your membership application now.
If you are a practicing physician, your medical license information (license number, issuance date, and expiration date) and credit card information may be required to complete your application. Membership dues and/or selected contributions will not be charged until your application is approved.
Note: If active membership was held within the last 24 months, you must have documentation of 100 CME credits earned during the same time period on file with the AAFP. To confim you have the necessary credits on file or to report additional credits, contact us by email or (800) 274-2237.

Creating an AAFP account is easy and the first step to an AAFP membership. Once this process is complete, you can apply for AAFP membership.
