For less than $20, AAFP members can earn up to six Prescribed CME credits; new physicians, residents and students pay a discounted price.
A second AAFP audio option available for purchase is "Journal Audio," a collection of four audio recordings featuring content from the Aug. 1 and Aug. 15 issues of American Family Physician.
Recordings from the Aug. 1 AFP cover the journal feature article, "Management of Chronic Tendon Injuries" (20-minute run time) and an editorial titled "Controversies in Family Medicine: Should Adults with Prediabetes Be Prescribed Metformin to Prevent Diabetes Mellitus?" (11- minute run time).
The Aug. 15 article recordings will be added after the online issue is published.
This product is available to AAFP members for less than $10; new physicians, residents and students receive a discount. CME credit is not available for the individual articles included in this product but is available for complete AFP journal issues.
Importantly, these new Academy audio products can be accessed via physicians' computers or through the newly revised AAFP mobile application, which features an audio applet created specifically to ease access to audio recordings.
