Two questions in the January 15, 1999 “Clinical Quiz” (page 267) are incorrect or poorly worded. A clearer wording of Question 14, pertaining to the article “Cervical Spine Radiographs in the Trauma Patient” (page 331) follows: “Which of the following clinical features make up criteria that suggest that a cervical fracture has not occurred and, therefore, radiographs are not needed?” The correct answers remain A, B, C and D. The answer to Question 17, pertaining to the article “Primary Care of Infants and Young Children with Down Syndrome” (page 381), is incorrect as published. The correct answer is C; although all four features are characteristic of children with Down syndrome, only duodenal atresia is highly specific for the diagnosis.
