The article entitled “Reducing Readmissions for Congestive Heart Failure” (April 15, 2001, page1593) contained an error on page1596, in the second sentence of the first paragraph under the subheading “Beta Blockers.” The metoprolol product used in the MERIT-HF study was Toprol-XL.
