The article “Iron Deficiency Anemia,” (March 1, 2007, page 671) contained incorrect data in Table 1 on page 672. The table that appeared, “Prevalence of Iron Deficiency Anemia in the United States,” actually provided data on the prevalence of iron deficiency in the United States. The correct table with data for iron deficiency anemia has been reprinted here and the article has been corrected online.
