Using Technology to Reduce Admin Burden

Upon completion of this CME activity, you should be able to:

• Examine the basics of AI and the diffusion of technology and their impact on innovation adoption in order to support the profession of family medicine.
• Examine case studies of family physician innovators that have transformed their practices with new delivery models and technology to address administrative burden and improve practice satisfaction.
• Become familiar with key innovations that have been deployed in family medicine practices and their impact on those practices, clinicians, and their patients.
• Develop strategies for addressing documentation burden in family medicine.
• Discuss some of the ways that family physicians transition to Direct Primary Care Models.
• Discuss some of the ways family physicians are transitioning to Value-Based care models.

The AAFP has reviewed Using Technology to Reduce Admin Burden and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.75 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit.
