Term: Aug. 1, 2025 – Aug. 31, 2026
Candidates for this position are elected at FUTURE. Candidates should plan to attend the entirety of the conference. Candidates are required to be nominated at the conference, deliver a 2 - 3 minute speech, participate in a candidate Q&A, and, if elected, participate in a new officer orientation Saturday afternoon of the conference.

Must have attended a past FUTURE conference and have residency director's endorsement that time away from residency will be granted to attend meetings. At least one year of national-level experience in AAFP leadership, including:
Time commitment away from residency: Approximately 10 days (includes weekends) for travel and attendance at meetings.
Funding: Travel is covered according to AAFP Travel Policy. A per diem covers expenses to travel to and attend the meeting, including lodging and food.
